West Austin

West Austin includes the neighborhoods of Tarrytown, Clarksville, Deep Eddy, Pemberton Hts, Old West Austin, Enfield, Brykerwoods, Highland Park.  These leafy, hilly enclaves date back to the beginning of the 20th Century and offer some of Austin's finest vintage residences that have been finely preserved and updated.  New construction is sprinkled throughout these areas along with condominiums, and the close proximity to Downtown and the University of Texas ensures a healthy demand.  Clarksville and Deep Eddy are less car dependent with neighborhood stores and shops within blocks of homes and condos.  Cottage homes begin in the 500's and estate properties easily top several million.  The edge of West Austin includes the shores of Lake Austin with waterfront homes available.
